The marina and village have a wide choice of shops, restaurants and bars, a traditional open-air market is held every every Sunday morning, the Duquesa Golf and Country Club is only a five minute walk away. Duquesa and the surrounding area maintains a vast amount of unspoilt natural scenery and authentic local character, whilst sharing the fantastic climate and all the excellent services and infrastructure of the rest of the Costa del Sol. Duquesa remains undiscovered by the package holiday companies, this is primarily due to the limited and well-managed development, there is only one hotel in Duquesa and this serves the golf course. The result is an ideal balance of relaxed living in traditional Spanish surroundings with easy access to every imaginable amenity.

The port offers full marina services for boating enthusiasts as well as many different attractions for those with no aspirations to take to the water. The attractive promenades in the port offer a variety of restaurants, intimate bars and cafés in which to relax. There is a vast choice of places to eat out including French, Italian, Chinese, Indian, Thai and of course Spanish with its fresh local fish. There is also a laundry service, grocery shops, boutiques, newsagents, a health club and two beauty salons.

So you don’t actually need to step out of the marina for anything, you can just relax and take in the atmosphere.
